Visual Minutes & Graphic Recording
Terry is frequently engaged to provide on-the-spot drawings based on verbal contributions at meetings, seminars and symposia. Sometimes called visual minutes or graphic recording, these drawings form a unique and popular feature at such events. The drawings become the property of the client and can be used as illustrations in subsequent written reports, web-based resources or electronic presentations. Studies show that memory recall based on such images, particularly drawings that participants have witnessed being made, are superior to conventional written minutes. The drawings are generally black and white for the purposes of expediency but colour can be used for emphasis.
Organisations that may consider using visual minutes include those involved in arts & culture, charitable & voluntary work, community planning, consultation with the public, education & lifelong learning, health, local government or the private sector. This is a specialised service and those interested are encouraged to contact Terry to find our more. See visual minutes in use here!
